The theme of the exhibition, aptly titled teplo (meaning „warmth“), focuses on the phenomenon of heat and its distribution in public space, especially during the winter months. Despite the existence of indoor spaces provided by charitable and other organizations that offer thermal comfort—mostly overnight and often with various restrictions—there is a lack of dignified and freely accessible places outdoors where people can safely access warmth at any time of day.

The exhibition sheds light on one possible approach to meeting one of the most basic human needs during winter for people living in difficult conditions. How can public space, along with art or architecture in dialogue with city institutions, respond to the needs of and provide support for people experiencing homelessness?
